D Ring Reinforced PVC Patch
25mm Stainless D Ring on a patch of heavy duty polyester mesh reinforced PVC.
Made in the UK.

Glue the patch on to your boat to create an anchor point to tie down kit such as air bags in a canoe, essential kit in hatches of sea kayaks, create a tie down point on a SUP or inflatable kayak, rig out your van.

12cm diameter reinforced pvc patch with 25mm x 4mm stainless D ring bar tacked with high tensile polyester thread.

Position the patch so the pull on the anchor aligns with the webbing and at a low angle for max strength.

Before glueing prepare both surfaces with sand paper & clean with alcohol wipes to remove any grease. Follow the glue instructions.

What Glue?
To glue onto plastic boats and composite boats use a 2 part epoxy resin glue.
To glue onto PVC such as an inflatable kayak or SUP use a 2 part PVC glue.

The PVC reinforced patch will hold a considerable weight at a low angle shear as shown in the image opposite. 50kg of weight can be held without any signs of failure of the patch. The patch is not as strong if pulled at right angles to the surface it is attached to.
